The Problem

Rostering refers to the digitization process of enrolling students to teachers and classes within the company's platform. District administrators who use the Northwest Evaluation Association's (NWEA) rostering system struggle with the complexity of managing and maintaining it. Approximately 66% of users who upload a roster encounter an error. Alongside that, the operational costs to maintain the complexity was unsustainable.

Assignment

Lead a cross-functional workshop to map operational workflows and the customer journey to help team members understand the current state of our rostering system. This helped identify improvement opportunities and pinpoint areas of focus for redesign.
